Our Fes desert tour starts in the morning ,with hotel pick up and we start travelling to Midelt with a stop in Ifrane city, named as "the Switzerland of Morocco". During the guided tour we ’ll experience Middle Atlas mountains. We explore the famous cedar forest which is the largest one in Morocco. After lunch in Midelt, we continue along the fantastic Ziz Valley. We pass few Berber villages on the way to Erfoud, where we explore fossil products. We visit also Rissani, the foundation of the Alaouite dynasty. We arrive in Merzouga desert in the late afternoon and we’ll be welcomed with a glass of mint tea. We stay overnight in desert riad with dinner and breakfast.

DAY 1 :

FES - AZROU - MIDLET - ZIZ VALLEY - MERZOUGA

Today we explore Merzouga desert in 4x4 guided tour. We visit the village "Khamlia" , where we will learn about Gnawa music and lifestyle of local persons. We will meet Nomad families to explore their desert way of life . Our lunch will be a traditional meal (Berber pizza) with a local family.  We will visit city of Rissani , surrounded by about 360 ksar (a fortified village with many towers). In  the afternoon, we prepare for camel ride with experienced camel guides to explore highest sand dunes in Morocco. We spend the night in desert camp where the dinner will be served.

DAY 2 :

MERZOUGA EXCURSION AND CAMEL TREK TO THE DESERT CAMP

We have designed our Morocco tours for the mid-level budget traveller but can modify some options for those with a limited budget or for those seeking a more luxurious Morocco experience and TOURS to MOROCCO.

Let us know what you are looking for and we will be happy to design a tour that best fits your budget and travel style. Your private Morocco holiday includes travel in an air-conditioned four wheel drive, the services of an English speaking local driver, accommodation  and breakfasts and most of dinners.  Lunches, drinks and other extras such as entrance fees or tips are not included in our offer.

COST OF THE MOROCCO PRIVATE TOURS WILL VARY BASED ON:

1. Bookings are confirmed on receipt of a 25 % deposit.  At your request, we will send an invoice with payment details.
2. Deposits can be paid via direct bank transfer , western union or paypal..  Receipts will be issued on receipt of the deposit. The balance can be paid in cash (Euro or Dollars or Moroccan Dirham) to the driver on commencement of the tour.
3. You can pay the balance by credit card or direct bank transfer but this will incur a 4% fee.

PAYMENTS AND DEPOSIT FOR TOURS :

FES DESERT TOUR 4-DAY TO MERZOUGA AND MARRAKECH

The next day of our private desert tour we watch Merzouga sunrise and after that we return back to the village of Merzouga. After breakfast we’ll leave for Rissani , Tinghir, and Todgha gorges - the highest, narrowest gorges in Morocco. We will have the option to hike for an 1 hour within the valley. Then we will continue to explore the Dades Valley. Here we ’ll take amazing pictures of the majestic sand castles and the amazing rock formations called as "monkey toes". We stay at local riad with dinner and breakfast..

DAY 3 :

MERZOUGA DESERT - RISSANI - TINGHIR - TODGHA GORGES - DADES VALLEY

The last day of private tour from Fes is dedicated travelling through the Dades Valley towards Ouarzazate. We drive through the road of thousand Kasbahs with a stop at Kalaat M'Gouna -the centre of roses valley. Here we visit the cooperative for the roses, and you may purchase the rosewater. We continue to explore the Ait Benhaddou Kasbah. It has been built by Et Hami El Glaoui, one of the last Berber chieftains during the 19th century. The Kasbah is a house of many Glaoui persons. We cross the Tizi n'Tichka Pass (2260 m) over the High Atlas Mountains. We arrive to Marrakech where we drop you off at your hotel.
