Today we explore Merzouga desert. We visit the Gnawa persons, originally from Mali, Senegal and Sudan. In their village Khamlia , we will learn about their music and their lifestyle . We explore city of Rissani which is surrounded by about 360 ksar and has a big souk, held three times a week. In the afternoon we ride camels, guided by an experienced camel-guide to explore Erg Chebbi desert. Dinner will be served in the desert tent where we will spend the night.

Your private Morocco holiday includes travel in an air-conditioned four wheel drive, the services of an English speaking local driver, accommodation and breakfasts and most of dinners. Lunches, drinks and other extras such as entrance fees or tips are not included in our offer.

COST OF THE MOROCCO SAHARA TOURS WILL VARY BASED ON:

Bookings are confirmed on receipt of a 25 % deposit. At your request, we will send an invoice with payment details.
Deposits can be paid via direct bank transfer , western union or paypal.. Receipts will be issued on receipt of the deposit. The balance can be paid in cash (Euro or Dollars or Moroccan Dirham) to the driver on commencement of the tour.
You can pay the balance by credit card or direct bank transfer but this will incur a 4% fee.

Our camel guide will wake you up to watch desert sunrise in Sahara desert. We ride camels back to the village and after breakfast we’ll leave for Rissani, Tinghir and Todgha gorges. You may enjoy a short hike in the highest, narrowest gorges in Morocco. Then we’ll drive through the Dades Valley to visit the rock formations known as “monkey toes”. We spend a night in traditional guesthouse overlooking the Dades Valley.

DAY 3 :

MERZOUGA DESERT – TODGHA GORGES – DADES VALLEY:

Tour from Fes continues after breakfast , and we explore Kalaa M’gouna in the route of thousand kasbahs. We will have the opportunity to visit a Nomad family in the mountain living in caves. We visit Skoura and local “Kasbah Ameridil”. It is a well-preserved Kasbah. We visit city of Ouarzazate , which has attracted many world class movie producers. We may visit the studios, used in movies such as The Mummy, Gladiator and the Last temptation of Christ. We spend the night in a riad with dinner and breakfast.

DAY 4 :

DADES VALLEY – BOUTAGHRAR – SKOURA – OUARZAZATE:

Our 5-day Fes guided and desert tour to Sahara in Merzouga desert and Marrakech starts in the morning ,and private driver pick you up from your Fes city hotel. We drive towards Ziz valley. We explore Ifrane -a beautiful mountain village, named the Switzerland of Morocco. We explore cedar forest on the middle Atlas Mountains. We will experience glimpses of the Middle Atlas and Higher Atlas mountains. We explore Azrou, a Berber village in the middle of the famous cedar forest. After lunch in Midelt we pass spectacular Ziz Gorge, we explore Erfoud and Rissani. We arrive to Merzouga desert in the afternoon and we stay in Merzouga hotel / riad with dinner and breakfast.

We cross the Tizi n’ Tichka mountain pass (2260 m) over the High Atlas Mountains. Once we arrive to Marrakech we drop you at your hotel.
